It's an old Finnish folk song and actually called ievan polka, it is sung in Finnish dialect from Eastern Finland. The lyrics actually goes as they sing here.

The earliest recorded version I've stumbled upon is from 1937: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6rdgGabj81laKc by Matti Jurva & The Ramblers. The melody is somewhat modified but the humorously defiant lyrics are the same. The song was also featured in a 1952 movie about Finnish lumberjacks and timber rafters working the material down the long long rivers: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3m2mop5ptChitU . These were really popular movies in Finland during those decades, lots of music and folksy comedy. Something to lift your spirit during the tough post-war years. I really like both versions of this song. What I love about the first version is that the song sounds very happy and catchy, but there's no sense of shame and people are just dancing and having fun. The obvious lipsyncing kind of fits this type of event. Contrasting is the second one with a more authentic presentation close to the original by Loituma from 1996.

That "hipput tupput täppöt" is the noise that you hear in bed you know... This was the way to describe sexual acts in songs back in the days.. But in the song the lyrics go "yours truly in the bedroom gave the mistress' daughter the club".. So there you go. Sex has always been the topic of songs.

I just had to take a break from watching the 3-day on-line metal festival courtesy of the European Metal Festival Alliance with over 30 metal bands from all over the world at a bargain price of 6,66 euros. The reason fro my break is that although I'm a Finn, this Finnish band is new to me. Believe when I say that your son was 100% trolling you with this traditional Finnish folk music.

My sisters and I bought each other their albums as a joke one Christmas because of the actual version of this song. Their music is actually really good (all in Finnish so I don't understand it). They are folk music but it's catchy

I'm gonna go ahead and point you to the original internet hit song which actually was done by the same people on stage, but as an a capella group. kzbin.info/www/bejne/barLapxmhaadmc0 They're actually very talented singers and originally did the song with a lot more elan. I assume that, since the song went viral, there was somebody who recognized it as being viable for a cheesy techno remix so there could be some money made from it which is what your son made you watch. Personally, I think the original is unmatched :)
