Kanye signed Desiigner before Panda blew up. Small backstory, Desiigner originally released Panda in December of 2015 on SoundCloud, which got the attention of GOOD Music (Kanye's label). Kanye invited him to chat and was so enamoured by his attitude and energy he signed him on the spot. They then re-released Panda in February of 2016, this is the version that blew up. Kanye also used Panda as the basis for Pt. 2 on Life of Pablo. Kanye was also on the remix of Timmy Turner. Banger.
