Bopping your head to the beat of the music (even if it doesn't sound "pleasant") will make you feel some certain way about the song. For example, On Sight sounds like ass, you've determined that without bopping your head to it; a slight head bop gets you into the flow, which could lead to getting fully in the groove. maybe you'll pick up on things you like instead of bitching about the song.
