His position in Warhammer 3 is so much better than in warhammer 2. Even if you loose the race for Karond Kar you could still travel to Naggarond via close by sea lanes

Lokhir CAN do a diplomacy trick to exploit dual start. In my current legendary game: declare war on Cylostra, sell settlement to AA for joining war with Cylostra and money, build up army while they duke it out. I got the ideal case, with both losing mains stacks to each other without any territory exchange.

I tried this campaign yesterday (L/VH). Iron dragon became powerhouse super early (rank 2). Approximately turn 15 Sniktch is at his last base and there is three and a half western provinces armies near to Celestial Monastery that I want to take. The hardest part is that Cathean siege units. They only have one, but that alone will kill my entire backline along with the few spells.

Lhokir was the one that makes me love Dark elve back in warhammer 2. And now in the third game, I love it too. Even with his poor climate you have beyond expanding Cathay, I just did not care about darklands, the chaos wastes and the mountains. In fact, after taking all Cathay for me. I just take the Sea line to the sea and I start conquering Lustria > get Rakarth under confederation. But also, I take the isolated isles with the High elve subfaction. I also take the south of the southlands by defeating Teclis. And then I put all my forces to Ulthuan. It's easy to have dozens of black arks everywhere in the world. You can recruit a single lord from this black ark that will take the army in the black ark to conquer lands that is not a port settlement.

Lhokir with an early stack of tricked out fully spec Corsair doom stack! Once you have the Blessed dread @T4 you can auto attack all sea encounters for insane gold!!! Take the Blessed dread and just pillage your little hearts content!!! Use a second Black Ark to support the military!
