Carpet bombing the Sacred Timeline requires the response of all the TVA's Minute Men (including judges) which leaves the TVA undefended for Loki to invade in order to confront (and possibly kill) the Time Keepers. As much as I hope for a beach episode, I suspect the show might use it for a much more sinister purpose. Sure, not Coulson style unfulfilled dream, but maybe that the TVA is recruiting people by abducting from their timelines and erase their memories, and thus that Mobius from the 90s and this is just a remnant of his old identity.

So a lot of people don’t understand why or even how there is a female variant of Loki, it’s because Loki is both gender fluid AND a shapeshifter. In fact in the comics he has changed sexes before. And when Odin once refers to his children Thor, Angela and Loki he calls them “My son, my daughter and my child who is both.” Also I absolutely love the soundtrack, I call it Sci-fi Scandinavian, and I’ll absolutely pre-order it when it becomes available.

Even without all that information, I didn't find it strange or unbelievable. It's a Loki from another timeline, so in her timeline she could've been born as a female. What's the problem?^^ We've seen other variants of Loki in this episode who were male but with different physical parameters.

I fully accept that there *can* be a female Loki, but personally I don't think that's what this character is. Our Loki found her actions strange. "I wouldn't treat me like this." I suspect it's another character, maybe Enchantress, who has similar powers and methods, but ultimately different attachments and a different motive than a Loki would have. It's just that no one from the TVA has so far survived an encounter with her, so they have to assume it's a Loki since they encounter him so often.

He, being his usual arrogant self, just kind of assumed that any great Loki would be like him, but that assumption was wrong. The TVA checks temporal auras to determine who the variants are, they're not just assuming it's a Loki because he's so common. Besides, when they met, she (through the TVA agent) said "if anything, *you* are *me*", basically confirming she's a Loki. Not to mention when he called her Loki, she didn't say "I'm not Loki", she got upset and said "don't call me that!" meaning she clearly has a history with that name.

Nice detail to notice how after the announcer says the princess is the prize, C-20 gets kidnapped. Also, I love to see Sasha Lane in the MCU. And Bonnie Tyler is always a nice add to soundtrack. RIP Mobius's salad. I wonder from which timeline Lady Loki came from. Before MCU, a linchpin from one of her movie appearences, her death? Really curious. Her mentality seems to have deviated and hard from main Loki personality. She doesn't like using her name or previous apprareance, which is interesting. He wants rule over chaos, while she wants pure chaos. Production design and Natalie Holt's score really make these scenes so much more magical. Beautiful. Great reaction.

Marvel already has 2 great shows with WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Loki is shaping up to be even better than those!! The first episode was great at very quickly explaining the nature of the world that we're in now, and this one has blown away any limitations to our preconceived predictions. Hi Kat & Sonny, first Time commenting on one of your Reaction Videos but I watched a whole lot - like the entire run of the "Dark" Videos, which I really liked especially because I'm from Germany and your reactions where awesome! :-) Regarding this Video about the second Episode of Loki (Also one of my Favorite MCU Characters and brilliantly played by Tom Hiddleston), have a closer look at the Scene at the Time they show us the Monitor back at the TVA after female Loki send out all the Time-Reset Devices - at around minute 42 and15 seconds or so in the Episode - you'll see some very familiar Places popping up on Screen, like Vormir (Year 2301), Asgard (Year 2004), Ego (the Living Planet from Guardians of the Galaxy) and also Titan to Name some of the Locations. I find this very interesting and maybe we'll see some of these Locations in future Episodes. Anyhow... nice Reaction again and greetings from Germany!

Okay, Kat's reaction to the jet ski conversation remind me of *so many* reactions by women to pseudo-serious "guy" conversations. :) The writing in this series is tremendous, so far. Yeah, the "Randy/Sylvie" variant just carpet-bombed the sacred timeline -- the *only* timeline permitted to exist in the MCU, until this point. If this works, then the Ancient One's explanation to Banner, of the consequences of the loss of the Time Stone, was about to be "overtaken by events," or "OBE" as we say in the IT Industry, in the United States. :) Remember, that conversation took place just before our variant Loki got hold of the Space Stone and teleported out. I like Kat's insight into Loki as "child-like." Remember, children are barbaric little id-monsters until taught civilized virtues by experience, patient teachers, and *very* patient parents. :) I really look forward to the next episode.

Loki IS a kid, I think. It was mentioned in one of the Thor movies that average Asgardians live to be apx 5000. Loki is confirmed to be a 1054 years old, I think. That's a little less than 1/5 of his life, which would make him apx 16 or 17, given that humans live apx 80 years.

A glimpse of things to come. Loki gets Owen Wilsons Job and Owen retires to a time line he can go jet skiing. during the episode when Loki sees the file about Asgard being destroyed it list the dead and then it says the civilization has ceased. However, in the movies Hela and Surtur (more Surtur) destroy Asgard. But the civilization went on. Thor created new Asgard on earth and left Valkyrie in charge so the civilization went on. Is the file is a different time line? Later when they go to 2050 a strength 10 storm hitting and No Thor to stop it. Hmm A lot went on in this episode just like you said. I like that we no longer have a real idea where Marvel will go with this. How far from the comics did we just go now? No matter what happens Marvel got us watching.

If TimeKeepers really are able to influence Multiverse Timeline all together, it is whise to think that they are everywhere at everytime. They are kind of mastering at least 4 dimensions (3 physical dimensions + time) + multiverse. Even TVA is kind of out of time in its own dimension... He can actualy watch this entire timeline... to me it can means 2 things : - 1°/ They already sees every thing in time (like if you were taking yourself back a while to watch a car (the present) along the road to see all from start (Begining of time) to finish (end of time)). - 2°/ TVA is always moving a step ahead the timeline to check all the past events stays as they are supposed to be. Maybe can we see them as the locomotive (Time Keepers) pulling the tender (the TVA), pulling the Multiverse timeline. What do you think ?

The thing is, he's trying to apply that logic to justify what he does and why he should be in power. We don't care as much about it being his motivational logic bc we know he will fail. (I promise this all has to do with Loki). There are, in the observable Universe, about 2 Trillion galaxies. That’s galaxies! So, if each galaxy contains 1000 civilizations, that would mean 1 QUADRILLION (1*10^15) civilizations. For ONE timeline! But if it branches into two timelines, three … four, five. The Timekeepers + TVA would have to police all of it.

What is hard about listening to people talk about the Time Keepers and the TVA is that it is a really difficult concept to grasp. The TVA were created around 1985 in Marvel Comics as an effort to control the various stories that were happening. Marvel was having the same issue that DC was having. Too many storylines for the same characters. DC solved this in the 80s with one big event. Marvel cleaned up there by creating a story within the story the Time Keepers and TVA that could manage the stories. The TVA was an inside joke with the editors and writers of Marvel. Mobius M. Mobius was drawn after the real life editor for story continuity for Marvel. In short the TVA and Time Keepers are a metaphor for Marvel Corporate in real life controlling the various stories. Inside the story of the Marvel universe the Time Keepers were created by He Who Remains, the last being left in the universe before it died and gave birth to the next universe. The Time Keepers created the TVA to sit outside the universe at the end of time keeping the time lines clean and protect the omniverse from people like Kang the Conquer and the Kang Dynasty. How they will be used in the MCU will be interesting but in short they will be the huge bureaucratic machine that tries to keep time from going off course. Metaphorically keeping the story straight in the MCU by the Time Keeper himself Kevin Feige. It looks like they are starting to set up the characters that created the Marvel universe like the Celestials and the One Above All as well as the various universes and dimensions in Marvel.

13:22 They are going back to apocalyptic events. Erasing these events would make a NEXUS events more likely as they never happened. Thus the minutemen would have to go to those events and stop that become a nexus event. Loki needs to get rid of the Minutemen to walk unchallenged in the TVA, she and Loki both want to destroy the TVA, the more nexus events unstopped then more the TimeKeepers will have to work, thus getting an audience with the TimeKeepers, who would want Loki to stop. As mush as Dormammu was trapped by Dr Strange into being Dr Strange's prisoner, Loki is trying to trap the Timekeepers into forever fixing Nexus events. Obviously the three TimeKeepers would grant an audience with their jailer. And OUR Loki and female Loki will want power or changes that suits them. The Nexus events are the ONLY weakness of the Timekeepers, exploited by the multiverse Loki's. The TVA have come across many Loki's and have had too many trouble with one character. Loki's are mischievous. The TimeKeepers are serious. When serious meets mischievous it's always mischievous that has to have something from the serious to win and stop the torment.

im thinking that lady loki found out that all lokies in all timelines are destined to die early (not of old age) so she wants to break the sacred timline so all lokies have a chance to live, that would be a set up for both lokies to work together.

What I don't understand, If there is only one timeline and if anyone steps off the beaten path they erase it to keep the single timeline then HOW is there tons of Lokis? Especially considering he lives for a long ass time, so where do the other ones come from? Unless there are different Universes but one timeline across the board? Also I really wanna see Bloopers of the conversations between Hiddleston and Owen Wilson... And lastly I 1000% believe the Time Keepers are bad or they are controlled or manipulated by someone. And I don't like the idea of one way everything goes no matter what lol No Free Will?? Also I don't trust the Judge lady.

They've mentioned the rate at which branches grow several times, meaning they grow at different rates. And it's only once they hit the red line threshold that they're permanent, so some branches may grow very slowly and the TVA don't get around to dealing with them right away, hence variants emerge.
