Remember how Banner explained time travel in End Game? You don’t change the past, you create a new future? So in 2012 Loki was captured and taken to Asgard and eventually killed by Thanos. When the Avengers returned to NY 2012 to get the Tesseract, Loki grabbed it and teleported to Mongolia thus creating a Loki Variant in a new time line.

Loki literally got the Tesseract back from Casey in the first episode. He should still have it because he never gave it back. He said it was useless in the TVA but that wouldn't stop Loki from "pocketing" it just in case he ever escaped.

Fake tears? If you're not joking, did you even see the movies? Loki isn't heartless. He cares, especially for his people and his family. He is actual very sensitive. That's why he acts the way he acts. Putting on a mask, because on Asgard children (especially in the royal family) were raised to be strong, to be a warrior. Loki is more into magic, art and tactics referring to fighting. That's why he never got really accepted by Thor’s friends. Also he is genius intelligent. That's not a skill you have to have for being a good warrior/fighter.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that all of the silliness he's been up to, getting drunk singing on the train, Etc which is not very sneaky is a direct result him being upset over the loss of his entire planet. After all what was he singing? Asgardian songs in Asgardian. And not once have we ever seen him do the "another!" thing which is obviously an Asgardian custom, but he did it on the train, after finding out Asgard was destroyed. Loki is very attached to things he just hides it.

The way I see it, they eliminate and not reset the variants that are too strong. And Loki out of all other people has the most versions of himself bc he is a shapeshifting trickster god... So he is tricky for the TVA to reset him and make him a part of the TVA bc if they will try then the chances of one Loki seeing another Loki there is very high. So basically: Loki is too powerful and the space lizards are afraid.

Did you notice that Wanda does the same wiggly woos for mind tampering as Sylvie does. Also noticed that when Sylvie screamed it was a major of fat in her surroundings just like when Wanda was grieving and she screamed she created the hex. Also notice that Sylvie once C 20 started to see through the illusion she had to continue the illusion and change it a little just like when people started noticing glitch in the matrix when wanda had the hex up she would either fast forward or put any affect on it to get past the realization that the illusion wasn’t real

Loki and Sylvie fight like its a brawl, while Loki fought like a badass in the movies. Even when he fought Thor the first time he created dozens of clones and put Thor on his ass. His physical strength in the MCU was shown to rival even Captain Americas a Super Soldier. I really hate his downgrade in the show. But the writing is phenomenal at least
