I cannot believe how desperately in love with these ladies I am. I LOVE the reimagined proportions, I think it fits their heads and super stylized anime faces better along with what I think this innovative line has really become. I'm a costume designer and fashion girl so despite personally not ever dying for the OMG look, I appreciate the designers so fucking much because less like rainbow high, the OMG dolls are each their own head to toe individual "look" more than a character which is why they don't have like real names, I always thought and lzo why they don't sell fashion packs. It was that concept that made me love the OMGs with all the endless homages and references to iconic fashion moments, artists, musical genres, iconic movie looks, designers, pop and counter culture fashion from all over the world and through the ages- and it's made them grow on me when once I would have never bought an OMG--and while it was so cute and great to see such a radically different shape and silhouette with the head size, shorter stature and juicy curves I can't lie and pretend I don't love seeing the same intense love outrageous mounts of pop culture and fashion knowledge and care that the designers put into representing these iconic(I know I keep using the word it just is what it is) fashion moments, movements, ect... in a more familiar fashion sketch come to life type of look. I don't need every doll to be like that (ok other than I just love my girls in heels it's just a preference that is almost actually a requirement-its a vow I live by myself no less that four inches if you're leaving the house...) But I just love seeing these girls taken into that realm and I hope we get to see more because I am absolutely aghast by these beauties. Plus more doll surface area means more room for more clothes and I'm never saying no to that.
