I did security for them in Houston, Texas on their October Rust Tour. They used the fake snow(suds) that show too. I was working the stage right next to Peter Steele and got covered with the snow. It is one of my favorite memories working security and they're one of my all-time favorite bands. At the end of the show he ripped the strings off his bass and I got one of them. Still got it. RIP Peter Steele

I was able to use my balls for once to get past an after show guard and meet the band minus Josh in Austin Texas. Got to shake Pete's hand and sit down down with Kenny and Johnny totally gobsmacked. Will listen to Type O during Autumn until my dying day. I wish Pete was alive and still making music.

My eyes are red, swollen. The soul is depleted. almost 24 hours since I heard the news. I'm out of words...but never tears. This is the 3rd worse loss of my life. I know, I know..just a band, just a man..right? No...Peter Steele saved many of us..we all know that. In one way or another...he saved us. Goodbye Jolly Green Giant. Enjoy that KFC, the red wine, and look down upon us and laugh that we are still here. Blessings to all.

Jesus saves, Peter knew that, and was talking about it on the last album. I'm sure he would have kept talking about it on the follow up album that sadly never happened. But he was certainly relatable in this wicked, fallen world.

I seen them live 3rd show after the dead again tour started when i see it was on point i mean on F'n point. not a note missed and he was sober and energetic and was telling the audience how thankful he was. it was awesome i had hope the Green Man was gonna turn it around n keep on truckin. Then i seen them 3 years later in Louisville Ky and it was a different story entirely, he was so drunk he had to sit and he was slurring and you couldn't understand him, i still remember him saying sorry i'm off the wagon n mumbling something. He eventually sobered up n they played for I kid you not over two hours they played songs from every album even world coming down. and the best part was Pete left the stage so Josh took over and started playing Beethoven and the band joined in. RIP Green Man.

Of all the performances, this one really gives me chills how perfect it is. Peter bathed in UV-blue light with his eyes closed/looking down and camera slightly out of focus gives the illusion he has all-white eyes and a gargoyle-like appearance. So very apt for the darkness he embraced. Makes me incredibly sad we lost him so soon.

Peter Steele was mentioned by someone on my Instagram. I looked the guy up a year ago, then a few months later, was recommended a video on YT of his “finest moments in interviews”. I loved his personality and was drawn to him immediately, but once again nothing came of it. This is the first song I chose to listen to yesterday, from Type O, and I’m pleased to say that I’m in love with this band. However, while listening to more clips of his interviews, and getting an overall feel for who he was... You can tell he was a gentle soul and it’s such a shame that his life ended so early. My heart feels heavy right now as I think of him, and although their deaths weren’t similar, it just reminds me of the love I have for Chester Bennington. I hope they are at peace now. Gone, but not forgotten. 🖤🖤

This got me through the worst kicking when I did it at home, it really got me through it! I can't explain it it was like a drug listening to it! I'm so grateful for this Type O Negative Bloody Kisses and possibly hours of listening to "Frozen" over and over... the hardest thing was making it until the morning I don't know why I didn't feel any better during the day but the nights were tough! I don't ever want to go through that hell again, but if I do I hope I have this!🤟🏼👊🏻

Incredibile performance!!! Love

@@arthurbishop3173 i like the sound of the drums for world coming down, definitely matches with the stripped down and scooped sound they kinda get lost in life is killing me though, where everything has more midrange and density i think the album would have sounded better either with live drums or a similar programmed sound set to october rust, which would have compensated for the previously mentioned fullness and midrange-y-ness with a huge fat drum sound
