Thar be spoilers below. . . . . . . . I support the thieves and I love how much excitement Sniper had going into this Worlds. There is just no consistency in their game plan. You can really see the nerves from Tomo and Quid on display here and Eyla was definitely making a lot of "thinking too fast" sorts of mistakes. Flashes, hooks (on the Naut game from the R7 G3) and engagements that can probably be fixed with just slowing down a bit more. Check that hotbox a bit more, line up that skillshot for an extra 15 ms, and don't think you have to all in every fight against every team. I think had they gotten to Swiss Sniper would have really been exploited more by the lane swaps, but honestly great efforts to team fight and keep pace on Renekton as many games as he had to run it back. River seemed like he was running into some decision paralysis, not sure what the comms looked like here vs the reg season, but the team alignment was definitely more nerves than leisure. Quid was very inconsistent, same as Tomo I'd say. Obviously the Vex game doesn't need to broken down, but I have no f*ckin' clue why that Renekton was the champ you'd put him on to possibly end worlds. I'm not feeling the Ren priority they've been pumping into this Worlds and I'm not sure we'll see *this* many run backs of it from the higher level teams. It's not particularly easy to find the angles in fights, and obviously we saw that this game. I think the drafting was alright in a lot of these games, but I'll never be able to get my head around that Gm2 draft here. If you had Sej here, sure. I can see two melee into a Sej to help out with procs and stuns. I can see the Ziggs with an Aat/Sej/Ren for the extra AP. I do NOT get why double melee solo lanes (and not even reasonable melee solo lanes like we've seen in the past tbh -- Akali, Yone, Irel, hell even Garen had some merit in previous metas -- scaling or assassin picks. Not a bruiser with midgame spikes.) Definitely a lot of points to address going into the reg season, but I think the 100T we say best C9 unfortunately didn't make it out to the EU studio this trip. Things never quite aligned for y'all, but still a great time in Berlin.

We just have to remember that this was neither the team we expected nor the team we had high hopes for. They're new, they had a great series to get 'em here, and the nerves clearly got them. None of those players really played like that in reg season LCS.

There will certainly be a lot of flame and a lot hate toward NA in these comments, but PLEASE understand the players and coaches scroll YT and reddit just like the rest of us, so offer some positive words along with the negative (and we *should* address the negative, it's how we accept the loses). Let's just try to keep these younger players from feeling the forces of darkness out here. Being a pro in itself is an amazing accomplishment, being a pro and making Worlds is only done by literally a couple dozen teams IN THE WORLD at most.

because GEN(a korean team) will match against the last team that was picked on the pool 3 which is DK(also a korean team), making it invalid since two teams from the same region can't be matched up on the start of swiss stage. so yeah inevitably it will be fnc vs dk and gen vs wbg

If this is a serious comment, it's because Western culture doesn't really care about shoes inside/on furniture. They're playing in Germany (traditionally shoes off in private homes) and he's from America, so it's not always a consideration for a lot of folks.
