You have made an overgrown child very happy 🥹 (me) This is an incredible analysis Prymal. I was screaming at you watching this like ‘YES EXACTLY’ from you catching the mirrored rooms, to nailing the scale on guitar (your guitar playing is 😍) to you re-evaluating the lyrical concept the second time, to toy being bang on about the demon voice effect. AHHHH. YOU ARE SO BLOODY CLEVER and your ears are fine specimens. The story is about (the character 😶) feeling unloved and undesirable and pretending they didn’t care. Dressing up, feigning confidence and trying to… date. Because (the character 😶😶) felt like she was unworthy of love like you said, she would pretend that she didn’t care if things fell apart. Always prepared for the worst so she couldn’t get heartbroken. One day she just swiped her last swipe and broke tf down. All the honesty just poured out all of a sudden. Which was good, cause now she can heal. (Whoever she is 😶😶😶) You are talented, passionate and kind. It is a joy to watch you absorb music and to hear it, through YOUR prism. I am eagerly awaiting your music now! As long as it pours out of you as organically as your analysisisisis do, it’ll be perfect. Thank you again. 💜

Thanks Lolli! You’re such a sweetheart! Reacting always feels so much better when the material really speaks to me. The song is brilliant on so many levels! I guess I didn’t quite nail the narrative, but I think how you explained it was probably what I was feeling, but was struggling to articulate. There was so much info swimming around in my head. 😂 I hope the character 😶😶😶😶 is beginning to understand her true value, and that it isn’t defined by the opinions of others. Particularly those found on the swipey swipe apps. ❤️ Can’t wait to hear what else you have up your sleeve.

What a beautiful song and what a gorgeous voice you have Lolli. I normally only watch reactions on your channel (because there are just too many rabbit holes already and a serious Dimash addiction 😅), but I was curious when I saw the title of this reaction. 😊 And I‘m glad I clicked on it. Such an emotional song. And kinda weird. 😉 Which I love. 😂❤ Your accent seems to change when you sing. Interesting 😳🤔 And wonderful analysis Prymal! 👏🏼🔥

Thank you for this! As the producer of this song, it was really interesting seeing your reaction and breakdown of our work. You really have passion for the craft. 🙏 I don't really think about concrete time signatures or chord extensions - although I did study jazz and classical music. They just emerge as vocabulary that I've acquired throughout the years. And then with a vocalist and story-teller like Lolli everything becomes much easier (and challenging at the same time) 😊 Thank you again for your insight and for sharing our art. We don't take it for granted. We're glad the music resonates with you. 🌀

Eduardo, all I can say is that last night I was working on a song that I have been sitting on for ages, and I Can’t Decide was definitely influencing my decisions on composition. The choices you made were so far from vanilla and yet so tasteful that I couldn’t help but notice all of the “middle of the road” “first draft” paths I had taken in my song. It made me reevaluate the feel of the song and look at what I was doing completely differently. You are a magician, sir!

I have always loved Tori Amos. Little Earthquakes is such an amazingly beautiful piece of art. I can certainly see the influence there (I assume- you’d have to ask Lolli) I have less experience with Kate Bush but Lolli’s lofty legato swings and stunningly unique vibrato seem to lean into that a little too. All in all it seems that Lolli is a unique talent. I’m glad I stumbled across her cover of Hurt.

If blowing your mind the object of your desires, and you're talking more about the bassline than about her voice I'm pretty sure that if it's the voice that counts, Diana Ankudinova (at 14 singing Rechenka) or Floor Jansen from Nightwish doing one of her solo projects would surely please - for example - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHOqaXqarrGMes0si=9Q__3zjmXQVd5565 (Slow, Love, Slow - Live - Amsterdam 2022) Music videos are so overly produced one isn't really getting the what singer actually sounds like. @@PrymalChaos It wasn't so much that you were not familiar with Floor, as much as there is a lot of band competing for ear space when she performs with Nightwish (that's not criticism just observation). My personal preference with her as the vocalist is the attention is on her, not the band backing them up, though that's not the point with Nightwish - they are a total experience, not a band backing Floor. And I do have a few (Ever Dream, Nemo) I really enjoy. I'm always checking out reaction vids to GLS and those other two videos from Wacken. .
