This area looks great after a paint and tidy up. Have considered using a paint roller when painting your furniture? I use a small foam paint roller & find it leaves a smoother finish on the larger flat surfaces and a paint brush for the more fiddle delicate areas. Give it a whirl on your next painting job. Thank you. Yes I have a small roller and I've used them before. This particular paint is a specialist paint for furniture that I'm using though and I'm using their own recommended brush.

Looks great! Frenchic paint is amazing, my mum uses it for everything. She’s painted her plastic front door and it looks incredible! I’ve bought a cornflower blue colour to do mine (when I can be bothered 😂)

Should have used a roller, paint is much smoother with one

I used the brush from the same manufacturer as the paint, that they recommend. I've used rollers before but I don't like the stippled effect they leave. If there's a way around this, I'd love to know.

Instead of washing your brush between coats just wrap it with handi wrap.
