Carmine I had a Pit Bull named Daisy. My princess ate only Gourmet Liver freshly cooked daily by me. I close my eyes now and see her in my heart. I tried adopting another dog but I just could not Replace Daisy. Daisy never ran from me. Daisy would wait for me to come home from work. Daisy found me in a park. Daisy owner left her to die of Parvo in the park and I recued her. Daisy defended me while I was with child and was over protective of me with anyone who raised thier voice at me. Daisy was it for me. Until this day I would never give a peice of my heart that Daisy gave me to another dog because it's hard to let her go. I love her so much that No other dog can take her place. My love for Daisy is beyond the grave. Daisy gave me the best 3 years I ever felt in my heart. Thank you so Much Daisy I will always love you Daisy thank you for always protecting me❤

the last part was the best, where Hachiko reminisces and he finally saw his master. that was a happy yet emotional ending which also ends the dog's life and hachiko's longing to see his master.. the best dog movie ever

dog's love is so honest and so reall,everybody who have dog can feel this movie much more then others.i remember when i was in the hospital for 13 days my husband told me that the dog was waiting for me at the door every day,and i missed him so much all those days.Hachiko is a great movie very emotional.Who didnt cry in this movie? is there anyone who didn't????i still haven't seen the japaniese version but i would like to see it cause it's also very nice,by the way Richard Gere is briliant!

People are mean...dogs aren't. My neighbors killed my cats, just to be hateful...I know cruelty up close. I took them to court and won both the criminal and civil cases. My heart aches so much for my beloved pets and this movie serves to reinforce the goodness of animals. God has them now, but I still cry for them.

I have the exact same neighbours, the cats I grew up with are dead because they cage them up and do something with them, or because they poison them. One of our neighbours’ child found a block of poison and was playing with it, thankfully the mother got there in time. The guy (the neighbours that kill the cats) even tried punching my grandmother but luckily my mother got him to back off.

I just saw this movie for the first time a couple days ago and I think it's one of the best films ever made. Probably my favorite dog movie and the soundtrack is just incredible. I love this one in particular. Dogs are amazing. I love mine so much and my dog Buddy kind of reminds me of Hachi as far as loyalty goes.
