I just discovered this brilliant movie a week ago. It's such a heart warming performance by Hachi and Richard Gere. Their soul connect moves you to tears. Shows the unwavering loyalty of the dog towards his master. This movie activates your tear glands to an all time high. What a background score to go along with the movie. I could relate to the dog as my dog died recently. It's devastating for pet owners to live without their furry companions. A loss which can not be ever compensated. Each human being weighs us in monetary terms. Only a dog can give us unconditional love in this commercial world. As it's rightly said - "You have entered experience unconditional love, if you haven't had the Love from a dog"

I watched it like a 100 times..I still watch it and never get bored (cried all the times, one time I cried like a baby)...One of the best stories I've ever felt (you don't watch divine stuff but feel it) and it's music the movie theme and this goodbye theme piano covers, I listen to it everyday multiple times and this is the only music I listen to along with a few more classics. i always imagine my self there, specially the demi-god who is playing this piano, who came up with the script, who directed it, and others. Thank you for this.
