Viewed this interview many times and it's so sad that Lolly passed away shortly after. However, I am so thankful that he was so generous to share his heart and soul to us through his musical genius, and will live on through all of Redbone's music. He's in Rock and Roll Heaven now, in the forefront of the greatest band ever!!💖💋💓

Lolly was the greatest musicians ever. He should be in Music Hall of Fame instead of those no talents.

Lolly has to be among the absolute greatest songwriters, guitarists and singers of all time. The band Redbone was an other-worldly phenomena that left an indelible mark in the history of American and World art and culture. We've all heard the hits but listen to the albums- there's so much inspiring and brilliant work therein. "Alcatraz" still gives me chills. Love forever.

It’s kind of disheartening that Mr. Vegas didn’t live long enough to see the reappraisal of Redbone in the mid to late 2010s. We could say Come and Get Your Love is a bigger hit now than in the 70s

I think he passed just 4 months later. It makes me so sad to see him looking down instead of at the camera, I think he was diffident about being seen in his current condition. Still beautiful and gracious.

Lolly Vegas was most likely at the end of his life here. We, as a society, did not help our Native American people to thrive. We harmed them. I hate that we did that.
