You did a nice restoration job. But I think restoration means keeping the originality. The paint of pedestal, base, blades were changed. Those should be painted as original. Did you oiled the bush bearings of the motor. The motor is old and dry. There are two cotton or felt pads in each bush. Those should be filled with oil and few drops on shaft and bush surface. Preferably 3 in 1 electric motor oil (blue can ) or you can alternatively use motorcycle gear oil.
