Mr T is one of my childhood heros and still is. I grew up watching him in the A team and seeing him wrestle and box and loved him as Clubber Lang in Rocky 3 but, he himself is the true Mr T. He has good strong values and spoke the truth and didn't muck people around and always gave back to society and cares for people. Mr T, you are a legend sir and an inspiration to us all for your good work over the years. ✌

Funny how edgy and serious Mr. T is at the beginning, but at the end, you can see that his sense of humor comes through.

80s kid right here. This guy was one of my heros growing up. But at the time I was too young to understand the struggles he had to overcome, or the morality, positivity, and dignity he chose to live by. I probably haven't thought about this guy in at least 20 years, and seeing this he's still one of my heros.

He’s a flashy guy with a colorful persona outside. But inside, you can see he’s sooooo much more than that. In this interview, you can see how he saves his “real voice” for when he has something serious to say. The part about the gold chains hit me like a damn freight train.

After Rocky 3, people were petrified to interview him. Letterman was clearly uncomfortable talking with Clubber, aka Mr.T.

Holy crap, 1:09 almost broke the entire facade. T holding it together was almost a miracle. Because seeing T laugh is one of the most adorable things on the planet, because you see the soul and heart and humour of the man. This interview almost smashed the 'angry bitter always and always T' before it even started. Just fantastic.

He was fantastic on SNL when he and Hulk were hyping the 1st Wrestlemania. He broke up in a skit and instantly pulled it together with a menacing scowl that busted everyone else up.
