We never saw any snakes, so could not say. We even visited lesser touristy places in the centre and north. Never saw a single snake

Absolutely wrong! Lombok is chili in javanese not in Indonesia. But Lombok is not based on your fucking language. Lombok is from Lombok Language itself. It means straight or straight way
