This video was SO helpful in getting my head around moving to London from California and not really knowing the reality of the rental process. I did hear from other KZbinrs about the whole offering more than the listed rental rate which seems SO crazy to me because you’re not buying a house! You’re just renting. So I have that in the back of my mind plus your comment about you’re not going to get 100% of what you want. Thank you so much for this video!

@@jesslouiseellis it makes total sense to look under your budget rather that at the exact budget amount. Same as if you’re buying a house. We live in strange times now with bidding on rentals. 🫤

Enjoyed your video! I do have some inquiries about the documents required for individuals newly relocating to the UK. My hubby has a UK passport but we have never lived there. We are relocating from the US. Could I possibly message you for more info?! Or do you plan to make a video on the requirements/doc you used to lock down your apartment as a person who hadn't previously lived in the UK (no UK credit, references, etc..)?
