Hi Hanna, I'm new to your channel and I've really enjoyed watching your video, and I will definitely be checking out some more. I really admire all those talented people ( like yourself ) who have taken the big step to turn their talent/ hobby/ passion into their job full time, that's something I would love to do and often dream of doing but I'm too much of a coward to take that bold step and I work full time and to be honest, I've really grown to rely on my monthly wage packet, so as much as I would love to do art as a job, I can't really see it happening at the moment. I go through periods where I have this mental tug of war going on between what I want to do , leave a boring mundane job and concentrate on my art and on the other hand I know I have to pay for the roof over my head and other bills etc... But I'm sure there are others out there too. London is notorious for being expensive and for what you pay for your studio, I pay less than that for my flat...its insane. That said, it's amazing you have your own space to create your art and hopefully help you flourish. That happiness really shows in your face and I want to wish all the best with your channel and my best wishes on your artistic journey too. A great relaxing video, you've done a fantastic job. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. I really understand how you feel. Today I posted a podcast episode on my channel called the 'Artist's Dilemma' and I talk about making money from my art and how actually when I was working full time in a 'normal' job and making art as a hobby, I actually had an amazing amount of creative freedom. Just because you are not getting paid to make your work does not make you any less of an artist. I would embrace the fact you do not have that financial pressure on your creativity. xx

£400pm for such a big space that's great! I've been renting studios around South London for a few years, all alot smaller than yours, and none less than £500pm! I'm looking for a studio at the moment, might have to look around North.

I know it's so hard to find affordable space, some are crazy, like the same amount for just a desk space only. Also check out Bow Arts. If you can get in there I think they have the best rates I have seen for London artists. I had to get a small studio in the loft first just to get in this building and then managed to get this one from there.

where did you get the pizza lady illustration?

I think the pizza lady is the queen of hearts illustration! It's vintage. I bought it at a furniture fair. :)
