I'm from Germany, so Christmas is on Christmas Eve, because here you get all the presents in the evening on that day. And of course it's cream FIRST, all the jam will get sucked inside the scone and get mushy. The cream is like butter and goes underneath the jam.

I'm not from the UK, therefore I don't even think I'm allowed to have an opinion on the topic of scones, clotted cream and preserves. But, logically, I see the clotted cream as a version of a "butter", therefore it should be clotted cream first, then fruit preserves. Other people may say that the clotted cream is a version of "whipped cream" and you would put the preserves first. But my preference is for the first version, that is the Devon way.

I love watching your Christmas vlogs. I'm sure not all of London is decked out for Christmas but in Canada holiday decor in stores and the streets is almost non existent unless it's a privately owned business. For that reason I would love to spend Christmas in London.

I call Christmas Eve Mexican Christmas and count down til Christmas Eve. Our family opens presents at 12 midnight. Though this year we're changing it to 10 because more than half of us have an hour drive home after. Also, I'm pretty sure people from the UK/North Ireland are considered European 🤷🏽‍♀️

Cream before jam - it acts like the butter substitute. My sister and I pronounce scone differently and yet we were raised in the same household! I come from Devon - I’m not convinced the jam v cream is a Devon v Cornwall thing. I think it’s just been advertised that way. Keep the cream first campaign going!
