London Bus Route 87 (Short) Full Route Visual- Wandsworth to Whitehall, Horse Guards

I know, the 87 normally continues onto Aldwych, however, at the moment they terminate at Whitehall, Horse Guards due to roadworks on the route. So, this is technically a full route visual at the time I recorded it. Also, I planned to timelapse the 37, but couldn't be bothered to. So I caught the 87 instead, as that took me fairly near to Covent Garden (not Covent Garden Market in Vauxhall lol), which is where I wanted to be. I also love the 87 (it is one of the few GAL routes I like), so I really wanted to timelapse it, even if the full route wasn't on offer! ;)
The 87 (in this video) runs from Wandsworth Plain to Whitehall, Horse Guards via Wandsworth Town, East Hill, Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Road, South Lambeth, Vauxhall, Vauxhall Bridge, Millbank, Westminster and Parliament Square (with the Queen Elizabeth Tower to the right)!
The 87 is ran by Go Ahead London out of the Stockwell (SW) Garage using mainly ADL E400Hs, and a few Wright Geminis (some old B7TLs, and a few retrofitted Vantage Power hybrid ones)!
This is actually my first London Full Route visual on KZbin to go over the River Thames, technically making it a North-South route (or South-North in this video). It's not really though, as it's pretty much just a South London route! This is actually not the first London Full Bus Route Visual I filmed that goes over the River Thames. That video is not on KZbin yet though, but will be soon, hopefully on Sunday!
The 87 is actually a really nice route because it runs down Millbank along the side of the River Thames for a large part of the route in Central London, however, it is hard to see due to all the trees in the way... :D

Any idea when this route will return to Aldwych? Feels like these roadworks have been on for ages. Also means the 53 will come back to Whitehall and the 11 will go back to Liverpool Street.

The worst part is I didn't even know where the first stop was. xD Filmed the same route to the same terminus (Whitehall), with some squealing EH and some loud tourists on the day of the open day in Willesden. Ech, don't worry - firstly, the 87 is one of those stupidly short routes that travel in a straight line and Aldwych is basically a 7 minute walk away. :P I like the EHs though.

lol, did you get on at Wandsworth Plain in the end? Cool! The fans on this were too loud to hear the engine from the front sadly, it was a 58 plate as well... :( I love the 87, my favourite Go Ahead London Route! :P Same, especially the 58 plate one like I got for this, and the 13 plate the week before ;)

Matt's Transport Videos Wandsworth Plains rings a bell. It's the road before the straight line to Vauxhall begins; just after that weird thing in the centre of the roundabout. Meh, mine's the 36. Finally got an LX08 Enviro400 on it. It's funny - I personally prefer the YX13s. I don't like the late 2011/early 2012 batch of E40Hs, but I really like the YX62 batch of ADHs (despite never taking them) and the 2013 batch of Euro 5s. I really like the Euro 5 E400Hs too (in essence, the SN60s), but I don't particularly like Euro 4. And, of course, I love Euro 6s!
