Yeeeeees, a night-time London POV during Christmas!! Always love those videos, I can't get enough of London's fancy lights and decorations around this time of the year. It makes for so many amazing shots, so this was an absolute treat! I couldn't pick a fave until the very end. That Cartier building ornament, sheeeeesh. Thanks again for including the camera settings :)

Thank you! And yes Bond Street area Xmas lights may be a more underrated spot - always see the most stunning installations there but less ppl than in say Piccadilly Circus

Greetings from across the pond. I love your videos. I have the same camera and lens. You inspire me to go out and do some night photography. Please keep the night videos coming. Such a treat.

Ah man, I'm so glad that you are open for feedback and have included the ISO, FL and SS back in the pics! Cheers mate :) Please also review the A6700 so we can see if it is worth an upgrade from older A6xxx cameras, I think that would be a popular video.
@JimmyShixin18 күн бұрын
Absolutely! I was looking out for ppl asking for it cause I personally always found it useful when learning but wasn’t sure if others did so I’m glad ppl commented 6700 review definitely coming up as well! Thanks for the recommendation ❤️

Such a great photo session Jimmy! The a6700 is dope 🔥I am using the Sony A7C II but sometimes I am wondering if should have gone for the a6700 to have smaller and lighter lenses...

Niiiiiiiice like this style I need to do more like this in my travels. Completely forgot I have a Prisma that I need to use more. Plus the whole time watching this video I felt a cowboy bebop style. Going to need a find a walking map for London so I can capture some of these shots.
@JimmyShixin16 күн бұрын
a fellow man of culture! glad i was able to give vibes as good as cowboy bebop - while I haven't seen the show I kinda get what you mean with the music (right?) and yes prisms are great fun! you never know when they may come in handy, I quite enjoyed using it in my China POV as well, it can really help with framing and just adding a bit of visual flair to your image

Hello and Happy Holidays! Great shots! May I ask about the mini tripod? I am looking to buy one and I am currently checking for any suggestions.
@JimmyShixin17 күн бұрын
thank you! sadly this specific one I got in China during travels earlier this year so can only recommend looking around for a mini tripod for a camera that has the vertical feature (look for a ball mount). Example: amzn.to/40aAQEk

Doesn't it bother you when taking photos that the LCD panel opens to the side? I find it more convenient to tilt the panel like in the a6600 model rather than opening it to the left.
@JimmyShixin5 күн бұрын
Great question and honestly yes there’s part of me that misses the simple tilt up mechanism but I’m willing to have the trade off for all the extra angles this screen unlocks
@ozisovertherainbow4 күн бұрын
@@JimmyShixin Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the only obstacle for me to switch to a6700 is the lcd screen. I feel like I will never get used to taking photos with it.

Do you have an external mic bro on your Action 5? if yes, could share what brand you are using?

I do have the DJI Wireless Mic 2 set BUT I did not use them for this vid, here I am using the DJI action 5 pro on its own

What mount you using for the Osmo action 5?
@JimmyShixin16 күн бұрын
I use this magnetic action camera mount: amzn.to/4got3IB (this is the exact one I use from Amazon UK) If you're US-based this is a similar product: amzn.to/3VWw0YM

Thank you! Tamron 17-70 is my fave lens, if I could only have one for the rest of my life I’d be the Tamron, made a whole dedicated review vid for it where I just talk about how much I love this lens haha

are you happy with the DJI action cam? I'm still using the GoPro but been thinking about a switch. I am also a London photographer like yourself, hit me up if you would like to connect

So far so good! Love the battery life, MUCH better than GoPro Hero 8 Black which I had before, super night mode also v cool and the magnetic mounting system is very convenient and also allows for easy vertical content And I’ll check you out on IG! Thanks for the note
