+MEMYSELF ANDI It's a called a 'mix' and is usually used for parties and celebratory events, allowing a select few songs and samples without having to go through each full song as it would be a very very long party indeed. In this case, a long long firework display, and a new years firework display without the 'party' vibe would be lacking. But the choice of music is a little lacking i agree, but there are some of the best songs of all time in there, hopefully next years will be better like 2011'sor 2012's.

Excuse me but HO LY SHIT! That's what i call fireworks. Where i live we all send up our own fireworks. It has it's charm. SOme people wish to get that private fireworks baned cause so many drunk people manage to hurt themselves and others from time to time. But heck, it's worth it. But some want us to start doing this, where instead of everyone there is one big show instead like this. Well, i would have been on that if this is what they could pull of. But you know, i only live in one of the riches countries in the world. They can't even pull out the money to buy new books for the schools or give us propper new roads. They put all the money away and never spend it on anything aside from giving it to everything that isn't our country. Oh well... That's why i don't want one big show cause seeing as they never throw money at new roads and new books for the schools the show would be a tiny fart in comparison to this. This outdid everything that went of in my town the entire day combined! That... That was a show. Makes me wish i was there instead of here. And when that Doctor Who theme started playing... I can't think of any better place to be. I actually got chills watching this. Have been in London 3 times and absolutely love the city. Met so many wonderful people - like Judi Dench for example. So much fun to walk the streets and listen to Big Ben. Riding the London Eye was fascinating. Great adventure.

I wonder if the birds see people gathering and think oh no not again? Here's hoping there's enough spare trees for them to roost elsewhere! Yep music's a bit random, they could have found the beat to fit and made it more coherent with some sort of link between a bigger chunk of the track. Get one of the dj's from the old laserium to run it! Or just leave it on Kate Bush :)

The KZbinr Guy .... yeah ....well technically the fireworks have been set for a time to explode...so like when one goes off...then the other will follow after a few seconds and so on.....the people who have set em up....tried as best as they could to get the fireworks in time with the music.......

Hey British or / american people i have a question in my country cities or government dont fire up rockets put private people pretty much 90% of people buy firework and shoot it up so its all over the city and really nice and caothic but it seems that you guys only have government allowed to fire up rockets?

+Jokoko Manolo In Britain we too can buy our own fireworks and just as in your country fireworks go off throughout the city. In Britain though most people buy fireworks on 5th November. That's when we celebrate the anniversary of Guy Fawkes failing to blow up parliament in 1605.
