I remember when I first heard this song. It was 2015, I heard it from this girl who worked in the same shopping centre as me. I had a massive crush on her. We lived in the same neighbourhood so we would use the same public transportation. We had similar taste in music and she introduced me to London Grammar. It would be nice to say the girl eventually became my wife and we lived happily ever after but I would be lying. I took my chance, she wasn't interested in me like that and life went on. as friends. A few weeks later I lost my phone and my contacts weren't backed up, so I lost her number. Subsequently, I got transferred at work so I never saw her again... So whenever I hear this song, she comes to mind. 💔
