Zombies have more energy and enthusiasm than those people, the only place you get any appreciation is at pubs where they have Jam sessions. I've jammed with classical violinists, jazz, blues and rock musicians and operatic singers all improvising together, the best days of my life, but after covid so many closed due to being empty for 2 years and still having to paying for the rent and bills. They lost their businesses and livelihoods.

The Southgate Arms, a pub located in the East End of London, is historically significant for its association with gangsters in the 1960s. Notably, it was reputedly a site where part of the planning for the infamous Great Train Robbery of 1963 took place. This robbery involved the theft of £2.6 million from a Royal Mail train, a substantial sum at the time, making it one of the most famous crimes in British history. The Southgate Arms was known as a hangout for criminals and played a notable role in the social history of London's East End during that era.

... and before entering a London pub, please always be aware of bicyle drivers (like me 🤔🤭😀 ?), Terry ! I love your spontaneous playing in public places. In Germany, I guess, this would not be possible: coming in, taking place and beginning to play. Many people and also the crew of the pub would be annoyed and disturbed. So please be happy to live in a place, where this is accepted 👍👍👍.
@kindablue195915 күн бұрын
You've got it backwards - in London, it's the responsibility of the bicyclists to 'be aware' of the pedestrians. His reaction reflected his shock that a pack of cyclists were being so rude and dangerous (and breaking the law). Terry knows the culture and etiquette of public playing in London as well as anyone - he's been playing these streets for decades. He often asks permission to play first, often off camera. In this case, nobody asked him to leave, but the crowd didn't seem to be enjoying his 'distraction' from them posting selfies to TikTok and IG. Terry seems to be a very 'happy' person by nature, and I'm sure living in a place that appreciates and encourages his entertainment is part of what makes him as good as he is.
