I work on Wall Street in Midtown NY. Visited London 2 weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with Canary Wharf…so much so that if given the opportunity to transfer I would absolutely take time to think about it. Awesome video my friend

In Canary Wharf, I recommend Wood Wharf. Clean, safe with 24hrs security and lots of nice cafes with amazon fresh.

Love the new video format Toby. I have been living in Canary Wharf for the past 6 years and I absolutely love the place. In my opinion, it's the best are to live in London (that said I know most Brits don't like the area, I am not British either haha). It's safe, clean, there's so many restaurants, bars, cafes and places to visit. Tons of shops and amenities - you don't need to venture out to central London. I just wish I could afford to buy a flat here on day. Although I have been renting for 6+ years hahaha.

Оh, an interesting new video format 🤔 I would like to watch something more like this about other areas of London, or even just your personal favorite places in the city 🙃

Having worked in Canary Wharf on and off over my 13yrs in London (now Manchester the last 12mths on a project) for 6yrs+ I can honestly say Canary Wharf has absolutely no soul. Shoreditch on the other hand, any reference to London should include SD (and Soho).

@@heathgascoigne For those who don't know, when Londoners like the guy above refer to "Soul" What they mean is Soul = Shit on the streets, one stabbing every week and endless graffiti

If you wanna confuse someone who’s not a born n’ bred Londoner, refer to it as ‘The Island’, as all cockneys do (myself included), and they won’t know where you’re talking about. Nor will they think of dogs.

Would be nice to find out more about the facilities, areas and housing types, and less about the design of coffee cups and trousers.

England has better weather than America (or Canada). The rain and sun maps don't lie, most of England gets less rain than anywhere I've lived in southern Ontario. I've been to England in summer and winter and I think England has better weather, overall, than North America. Stanley Kubrick got way less rain living in St Albans than he did back in NYC, just as another example. Wales gets rain. Western Scotland too, and Ireland, but other than Cumbria, England, not so much. North America gets tornadoes, ice storms, raging huge forest fires, etc. Many drawbacks.

Will have to disagree with you Mark. I lived in America for 10 years and England simple doesn't have better weather. California, NeVada and Florida are warm with no clouds most of the year. Pretty hard to beat. Thanks for watching!
