Without doubt one of the best Base jumpers in the world can only be matched by Douggs. The film focus is on his bandit jumping but he has also done some spectacular legal jumps all over the world. Dan has a natural instinct for BASE, statically this guy should not still be alive. Amazing jumper Keep safe Dan!

"The odds are much better if you sit at home watching T.V every night, you won't die from base jumping if you do that" hahaha so true.

OK, basejumpings potentially very dangerous. But it's one way of gaining joy in this life. This guy Dan's now started to run courses on how to reduce the risks and enjoy the experience. Ive not had the opportunity of meeting Dan, but he's clearly dedicated to the next generation of jumpers. Whilst he can still gain some joy from it himself. I know he has kids and was mindfull of reducing his risks ect. I guess coaching others not only gives him an income but also helps him to only semi retire from it. All the best to Dan, and all others with the desire for true fun and joy*

But this guy did miss his vacation. He would have made a good Special Air Services, man. Still. He DID make a perfect ambassador, for his chosen art. May it be well with you, Dan. And all others who walk your life's path.* Your Zen is..Bright*

The illegality intensifies the conquest of a structure - A bit like a clepto really - You're stealing something you want and getting away with it with a great deal of satisfaction.... 😁

Fascinating. I wonder what the absolute minimum safe height is. 200 + feet?
@treyblack56337 жыл бұрын
Richard Gere 125' is considered the the minimum if I'm not mistaken. But on one had most experienced professionals generally don't consider any thing lower than 150' and on the other there have been BASEs lower than 125' with static lines and PCAs.

The minimum can be considered 125- 150

For an Adrenalin junkie he comes across as a very boring fella, he sounds as jaded and fed up with base jumping as he would be if he was going to work as the construction worker that hes dressed as.

Bill Hicks You obviously don't really understand people very well: not everyone expresses all of their feelings and emotions explicitly - some people are more reserved and don't crave attention.

What’s a matter with this guy he keeps squeezing the strings together when he’s folding the parachute away... use cable ties and it will stay neatly folded 🙄... 🤫 yes, I’m being sarcastic.
