London's Top 10 Attractions with The London Pass.
We tried to see how many London Tourist attractions we could see in 48 hours with the London Pass.
The London Pass gets you into over 70 London Tourist Attractions and can save you time by fast tracking to the front of some of the lines. It also gets you a discount in some gift shops.
London attractions that we visited:
Westminster Abbey, The Churchill War Rooms, The Queens Gallery at Buckingham Palace, The Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The Monument, ZSL London Zoo.
The London Pass also got us a free guided bus tour of London with Golden Tours and a river boat cruise with City Cruises.
The music you can hear is Tom Carradine's Cockney Singalong. Every Thursday night at Mr Fogg's Tavern St Martin's Lane.

My dear late Mum used to take me to an attraction once a week after I had attended Great Ormond Street Hospital thereby rendering what was really a trial into a treat....clever lady. Once we climbed all those stairs to the top of St Paul's...phew....bless her. Fond fond memories. Been in Scotland now 47 years so fantastic to watch Joolz tours from the comfort of a comfy chair. This was just wonderful for me as I'm a 73 year old living in Canada. I lived in London until I was nine and then when I was ten we moved to Canada. What a nice way to see my old home. Made me homesick to see some of the old London landmarks. Thank you so much.

When I visit Westminster Abbey I make a point of paying my respects to a British officer often forgotten in the mists of time. I find having a goal or a purpose for a visit makes it more personal.

I used the London Pass in 2004, it was brilliant, especially for avoiding the queues. My advice is, if you have the time don't try to do more than two of the big attractions in one day. eg. I did Westminster Abbey in the morning and the Cabinet War Rooms in the afternoon, St Paul's in the morning and the Tower of London in the afternoon, etc. My absolute favourite was Hampton Court Palace, I was there for about 7 hours and still didn't do everything. It is BRILLIANT but overlooked by many tourist because it is outside the centre of London, it's totally worth the short train journey to see it. Get a London Pass, you won't regret it.

@@paulos.martinsjr.339 Hi there, it really depends how long you will be in London and what you wish to see, personally I'd go for a longer pass perhaps 5 or 7 days, I'm not sure what lengths they offer now as it was 18 years ago that I used mine. Whatever pass you choose it's definitely worth it in my opinion especially for avoiding the queues. Hope you enjoy your time in London it's a fabulous city. 😊

@@cryptomonkey6142 thank you once again...I'll spend a week only...however I'll visit friends in another town ner London and will probably stay over a night there...so 6 days in London...maybe I'll visit two or three tourist attractions such as Kensigton Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London...wanna see a show at some theater but then I don't think the pass will be useful....thanks again!

The two high level walkways on Tower Bridge, A: Brace the two towers, and B: Where meant to be used by pedestrians to cross the river when the bridge was open, to allow merchant ships to reach the warehouses in the Pool of London. Which at the time meant they could be open for long periods.

God I’d need a pint after that fantastic tour! If I ever get to London, I definitely would go on your tour Jools! Id like to go where my grandfather Donald was born in Woodgreen, my great grandfather Joseph was born in Tottenham, my second great grandfather William born in St James Clerkenwell, third great grandfather born Lincoln Inn and finally Samuel born in hospital Endell Street, Holburn London. So far up on the family tree. Incidentally, Joseph was a brass foundry manufacturer on number 65 Moreland Street, City Road London as they were four generations as far I can tell. Other side of the family as a publican.

On my last trip to the UK, I climbed the Tower Bridge. To the top, across the bridge, down the stairs and the engine room: 743 steps. At 78, wow, what a gal!
