I think part of the idea is that Joan can support the innocence or her husband, but John is unable to bear his wife's guilt. At least, in a symbolic sense.

This theme sounds so..nostalgic,like it could fit a scene of a ballroom.
@basketoffruit44852 жыл бұрын
Well, it is in a waltz format (the beat goes like 1-2-3, 1-2-3, etc), so it could technically fit in the scene of a ballroom!

This theme really *is* nostalgic. For me, the music says "No matter what you do, or how much you change, some things always stay the same."
@TheShanicpower9 ай бұрын
It’s nostalgic because of the completely unsubtle, unabashed Professor Layton vibes, which this game pays several homages to.

To tap into nostalgia even though you’ve heard it for the first time is a hard thing to get.

I think it mainly just feels nostalgic because parts of it use a similar melody to the London theme from the Professor Layton games.
@DeadlockDrago10 ай бұрын
@@Exlayer-pk8hy As someone who hasn't played or seen those, disagree. This theme feels like you're next to a fireplace in some worn down part of town. It's soothing, yet rustic. Nothing grand, but homey.

On a semi-related note, try listening to this track and ‘More London Streets’ from Lost/Unwound Future back to back. In my opinion, these two tracks have a similar tune, albeit at different speeds and not completely identical, but similar nonetheless. It might be just me though.

Is it just me or John Garrideb's head looks like a crescent moon?
@rollo8902 жыл бұрын
Yup, that was intended. The Garrideb's couple was themed after the sun and moon. John is the moon, Joan is the sun. Fits with their personality as well. The artist had also brought up Joan's likeness with that of a pufferfish, but I doubt she'd be too happy at the comparison

For me, the first part of this soundtrack feels so nostalgic, and the second part of this soundtrack reminds me of the first time the exchange students have left their hometown. They always miss their hometown a lot.
