Lumo is a private provider. LNER is govt backed. When comparing with VB, note that you went 700 km plus in less then 4.5 hrs. Compare that with the fastest VB, and you may find a point of difference. 🙂

In general, European rail network is good… I’ve travelled SNCF( France ) , DB ( Germany), Swiss, Elypso ( Spain ) for many years… sometimes 1st class too! But never saw any coach with rotating seats, all instructions, including seat numbers, instructions in the washrooms in Brail, detailed information about the train, stations, speed etc on two TV screens inside each coach , individual charging point at each seat….…., many such high tech features! So, our Vande Bharat is much more modern in many aspects! Yes, Delay is there in VB! But, people in India should feel proud! No need to feel inferior in any aspect of premier train travel.

I told you in the first episode abt Eurostar leaving St Pancras to France under the sea tunnel for 29 kms. From my own experience I must say that journey was very smooth.... Netherlands er different routes also Eurostar covers. Jodi bullet train er katha bolo taholey bolbo as per my past experience ride in Shinkansen or Hayabussa. Amar darun legechilo bullet train to Hokkaido journey. Ei peninsula teh ekber jaoa must Enjoy life😊
