London Underground model railway build 13 - more scenic work and a much needed desk!

Hello guys! Another update!
I have done a bit more scenic work so thought id share, i also have a new idea for the 5ft board i recently fitted which should be fun!
Went on a much needed Ikea trip too, about time i had a modelling desk….

Nice bit of progress there. The scene around the scissors is looking really good. It occurred to me that if you painted your paint-holder stand thing black to match the desk, it might be more acceptable to the authorities.

The Croxley Tip! Serious hardcore Metropolitan Line stuff… As a kid used to love seeing those Pannier Tanks at work but only recently found out what they actually up to and what they were doing. My Bachmann Met Pannier is one of my favourite locos and has become nicknamed “Preston” as in Preston Road. Be interested how you get on with the small radius Streamline curved points. I have used some Setrack curved on my layout. Great space savers but not liked by a lot of locos and stock so had said “not on my new layout” but if I see the Streamline version work well for you…

Don’t underrate yourself, your three channels are the best around and are the reason that I am back to railway modelling after a forty year interregnum with my own railway cabin and a new layout. Add in the Making Tracks 1,2 & 3 and a great visit to GETS and I am so full of ideas and loving my layout. Thank You

Cheers, yeah ideally, though due to the curve the rear would be the larger of the loops so it depends on fitting it in, will have to be a compromise 😬

Looking fantastic. It's really coming along great and I'm quite jealous as I've always wanted a LT layout (no space for one currently). That train parked at Harefield. Is that CO/CP stock? If so, my favourite LT stock and any chance of a closer look?

Love em though ever since travelling on them as a kid from Elm Park, so some shots at some point would be great for me to drool over. Are these resin kits? I'd quite fancy building a set myself just to display on the shelf.

the new scenary on the between the bridges looks very very nice. I am a tiny bit concerned about the new section ( where your work space was) is it possible that there might be a tad too much track on the layout? Its quite possible i am talking out of my big fat A***

The hope is that the road in between will break it up nicely into two seperate scenes, in theory! The main problem is that the layout is only 2ft wide in most places so scenery will always be a slight compromise
