Fantastic video, brought all the good times flooding back, to start off we had 2 turns on a Sunday morning 03:00 and 04:30 from Didcot to West Ruislip and return, then started working services mid week day time, the guy shouting to the train crew was called Richard and was known to all the Didcot crews he was a bloody nice guy, he used to give us copies of his photos, the trains ran as a class 7 or class 8 with a bucket load of speed restrictions through stations. Happy days.

The refurb stock was taken to West Ruislip Underground depot via the connection with BR at West Ruislip. From there they went via the link to the Met, along the Jubilee to Baker Street and onto the Bakerloo Line there..... The last 59 ran on the Bakerloo in May 1989 and was then transferred to the Northern.
