London Universities Grand Prix @ Rye House Kart Raceway

Driving for UCL (kart numbers 1, 7, 13, 19), was a pretty rough session for me with an unlucky start, some sloppy mistakes, lots of opportunists and a pretty annoying, unsportsmanlike driver to deal with towards the second half of the race with my teammate Vishal (number 19). Some road rage can be heard and seen. Finished 8th out of 24 drivers, 3rd overall out of 6 universities for UCL. Was great fun!

Hey man, great vid firstly! I was also in this race :) From the vid it looks like you only lapped Kart Number 2 right? Cause I was Kart number 5 and got told I apparently came 24th when I made up positions during the race and don't recall ever getting lapped? I definitely think I had some issue with the tracking on my kart and the staff were super rude so i'm glad you recorded this vid lol

Hey, good race and thanks for coming along! I’m a bit surprised to hear this, Rye House staff have always been great with me and the karts haven’t usually had transponder issues. It can definitely happen though and in a tight competitive race like this it’s surely frustrating. I do think I’ve just lapped one kart (at least on track - could be black flagged drivers as well).

Yeah super strange! The staff denied there being anything wrong and almost didn't belive what I was saying lol, hence my comment! But oh well the race itself was really good anyways, nice drive!@@MK1-Racing
