Very nice visit to the Canary Wharf Festival of Lights!!. Very diverse illuminations and always in good taste. It's really worth visiting quietly and looking at the same. Canary Wharf is already a beautiful place and these nighttime illuminations give it additional charms. Thanks Friend WW. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

Hello WW. Ah yes I was very well aware of Canary Wharf lights in January and that mum and I would be in Canada during this event. Maybe next year we will hold off on our Vancouver trip and enjoy Canary Wharf lights. I have to say, seeing your videos come in whilst we are on the other side of the world makes me feel still very much connected with the UK. We still have to catch up on your videos though. For some reason this trip has taken more out of us than in the past and I don't think it's even down to the fact that we are a year older. The snowy weather hasn't helped but it's melting...for now. We are still feeling quite tired and I'm seeing a GP in a few hours. I've also booked 4 massage sessions with my previous regular massage therapist here. One session a week for four weeks at an hour each time. I may very well book more during our 8 week stay here. I was talking to a long time friend here in Vancouver whom I regularly send photos of all the events and places I visit in the UK. They commented that we have such a variety of events and places in England, as wonderful as Canada is of course. Anyhow I'm going back to sleep for a while longer. We are 8 hours behind you here. I'm going to look at getting the capability to watch YT on my 32 inch tv here. Currently I do have a dual screen system for my computer and a sitting /standing desk, which helps with my back. And I have my UK and Canadian phones plus tablet. Anyhow thank you hugely for this. I had a very strong feeling you'd be videoing Canary Wharf lights and as mentioned, I was very well aware of the event's dates. Take care and speak soon. Oh yes btw how's hurricane Isha? @@WatchedWalker Update for you. I just took a walk outside my Vancouver apartment here but indoors in the common areas and already my back feels considerably better. I think convalescing at home for almost a week due to snow and tiredness didn't help. I've also postponed out first cross border trip to the USA which was supposed to be on Wednesday for 5 days. We have plenty of time for several such trips later on in our stay when we are feeling more energetic plus hopefully better weather without slushy streets. Besides, we haven't even seen Vancouver yet! Stay safe amongst those storms WW. I'll try to catch up on the latest with that online. Talk soon!

To me Winter calls for warming colours so I'm not fond of all the blue light. What I loved was the "burning grasses" which brings to mind all our previous generations that warmed themselves and cooked on an open fire! I also loved the many curtains of lights! Thanks!
