I live in Lincolnshire in the north - east of England and couldn`t care less if I never see snow again. I hate the stuff. I could put up with it if it fell on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Other than that shove it ( not you personally, of course ) ! As for London, well - you ( not YOU ) can shove that too ! It all looks absolutely dreadful to me. The peculiar thing about snow, especially when it falls in any deal of quantity and in any city, is that it is pretty for ten minutes and ugly for ten days ( the pretty and even minutes followed by the cold, wet soot filled slush-muck days ). `Terrible stuff. I thank God I rarely see it.

I've lived in the city for over 40 years and I say this with love; London really needs to up it's Christmas lights game. It's ok in some places but the coverage is patchy at best and quite gaudy at times. Tokyo is probably our main competitor with this sort of thing and they absolutely blow us out of the water every single year.
