That's something I always loved to do back in my army days. I'd get earlier than the rest of the city I was stationed at and would just walk around and watch the city wake up. To see early morning delivery of the newspapers, merchants getting ready for a busy day, everything was magical. The sounds, the sights and the smells, were all different somehow. Some of us are hearty, some of us not so much. I'm reminded of a story that was actually covered by the news. 2 mail carriers in Massachusetts like to wear their shorts well after the summer-fall has turned really chilly. One day they decided to challenge each other to a bet. Who could wear their shorts the longest into the cold season. Well, by winter when snow covered the ground they were still at it. The news actually had clips of them delivering mail in the snow. Finally one of them folded and lost to the other. So, now comes the really insane part. The guy who won the bet won the prize. which was? Are you ready? A six pack of beer! All that for a lousy 6 pack of beer? And what do you want to bet it wasn't even cold.!

How beautiful is that snow ,but it looks so cold & coming from Melbourne Australia we don’t get this kind of weather even though people think Melbourne is a cold place in winter even though we don’t get lower than 12celsius ,which isn’t really that cold unless we have a southerly wind blowing ,the snow is beautiful but I feel sad for the homeless & the animals that aren’t warm New York reminds me of Melbourne in Australia it’s very beautiful as our Melbourne is Thanks for allowing us to see beautiful New York .

It's a good thing you did this in January of 2022. The winter of 2023 was quite mild and I don't think it snowed but once in NYC, and the snow was very wet and didn't stick.

4AM!!!! Ouch! just grey and rainy here in my part of UK. funny even we do get snow (rare sight here these days) it never seems to settle in London like it does in NYC. Glad its June I'm coming over and not now. been 6yrs by then, looking forward to it

I'm in Brazil, in my homecity Porto Alegre (south of the country) but I love your country and the people very much. Nyc is one of the most beautiful cityt I've ever been (already 4 times btw).
