Derry, officially Londonderry is the second-largest city in Northern Ireland and the fifth-largest city on the island of Ireland. The name Derry is an anglicisation of the Old Irish name Daire (modern Irish: Doire) meaning "oak grove". The old walled city lies on the west bank of the River Foyle, which is spanned by two road bridges and one footbridge. The city now covers both banks (Cityside on the west and Waterside on the east).
The population of the city was 83,652 at the 2001 Census, while the Derry Urban Area had a population of 90,736. The district administered by Derry City and Strabane District Council contains both Londonderry Port and City of Derry Airport. In 2013, Derry was the inaugural UK City of Culture, having been awarded the title in 2010.

@@BabsicalsCity I'm from Atlanta GA I was in prison the low point of my life and I had gotten in trouble in prison and got sent to the hole and it was 1 book in there I picked it up it was called TRINITY I read it and it brought me to tears and it hit me no matter what me and my people go through we are not the only ones who go through hardships the main character was from Bogside Londonderry I've had the upmost respect for the world wide poverty and struggle of all people since

It's either one, if you want to play that game it is internationally recognised as Londonderry. It depends if you're a Republican or not which not everyone is, so people can use either one. Ironically people who aren't from Derry usually get the most offended when someone says Londonderry
