I unironically consider this the best pop music video of all time. There is nothing groundbreaking about it or anything, but the video is PERFECTLY designed to fit the song. Everything. The slightly trashy aesthetic, the drugged out weird cuddling, the absolutely *perfect* color filters, everything. It helps that I consider this song to be one of the best pop songs of all time lol. Nellee Hooper is one of the most underutilized pop songwriters in the world. He's known for all of his weirder work but you can't tell me this isn't an absolutely perfectly written, composed, and produced song. Completely timeless production thanks to going for a sort of faux-acoustic sound and using such a simple chord progression. Just perfect.

She did and she wrote "Sweet Dreams my LAEx" which was supposed to be for Britney Spears. It was a rather empty but catchy musical retort to Justin Timberlake 's "Cry me a River" . But since Britney had cheated and felt in the wrong she didn't want to go there and give Justin more fuel to add to the 🔥 so British lads mag favourite Rachel Stevens swiped it. She was very successful with it but I think she is terribly insipid and a weak vovalist. Since music has become about the way singers look the standard has plummeted.
