Miss heard: The greed at breakfast at our hotel is also dispiriting. One young woman this morning with such a passion for Proust that she piles her plate with melons.. Dear Alan , I had to spend Christmas alone in 2020 for obvious reasons . I read, listened and watched so much during my waking hours, and perhaps my subconscious too , if I could remember. An Alan Bennett Christmas is a joy for ever. Thank you.
