LFB dont use CAFS but still use standard Low Ex Foam which mixed in the major pump on all Pumps since the volvos in the 90's, for major incidents have 3x Bulk Foam Units. Some FRS's particularly with older appliances still carry foam drums. CAFS is an entirely different system and is used by some FRS's and not others, its more efficient than water and can be used on Structure Fires and Flammable Liquids and can generate a larger quantity of foam and can be used where water supplies are short.

have you never heard of C.A.F.S??? its only a pretty new system fitted to standard water tenders, the foam mixes with the water inside and a compressor pushes the foam out under high pressure

Old time firefighting,putting the line into a container of foam solution, way before nowadays when Appliances carry their own Compressed air foam system (CAFS), conected directly to the main pump

It looks as though he runs around Kate and to the left of her, away from the doors to the pole which are in the back of the shot. It seems plausible, especially given Colin's character, that he forgot about the bunk room pole and ran to the other one

Since Tate is acting Station Commander, would he have the same powers and authority as a permanent Station Commander does? (ie the same authority as Scase)

@@johnarat9618 eh not really, it’s not his style, Scase only seemed to want power and authority, Tate entrusted John Hallam to be Station Officer for the time followed by Malcolm his Sub and then mixed between different temporary Leading Hands, (Bayleaf, Recall, Sicknote)
