I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthog , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

Your comment has me wondering how many Migs it would take to overpower an F-22. Obviously the Raptor would do even better than the F-14 in this 1 vs 2 scenario, but I wonder how many bandits you could add before the numbers advantage overcame the technology advantage.

@@resurgam_b7 I mean, in my mind, the 4th gen fighter advantage is more of a weapons advantage (Radar/Fox 3 missiles, better radars too). Sure they are still more agile in most scenarios than many 3rd gen fighters but I would say weapons are the bigger thing. Basically the "claimed" dominance of the F14A during the Iran Iraq war.

Make sure it has a decent graphics card, and no, the rtx 3050 or any xx50 series of card by Nvidia is garbage. Xx60 or higher with Nvidia or AMD RX 6600m series or higher

The Tomcat was always a great air superiority fighter, and fleet defense interceptor. The unique requirements of the time drove the design of the F-14. It was truly a work of art.

Mig-23 is much more maneuverable than Mig-21. If the extendable wings had not increased the maneuverability of the Mig-23 compared to the Mig-21, then the Mig-23 would not have had extendable wings.

What’s with the F-111? Can be used somehow in formation with fighter jets and even A-10 deployed ahead to clean the small targets around the runway or other main target? Let’s say it’s covered by a fast jet with two engines while the A-10 is covered by a light fighter. 🤔
