Yeah I'm sick of arguing with GS commenters on his videos that think a game is real life. They have even said and I quote"I wish they would use better tactics". Seriously? Never played The game have you? I've played third generation console AI that performs better and thats triggered response. Programming real tactics, offence and defence is not that hard,ED just don't seem to care.

Friendly suggestion, starting with an anecdote; my dad started high school as one of the only white kids in a predominately black school in Southern California in the 1970s. He was small and quiet, and made an easy target. He got picked on, and got in a lot of fights. Not fair fights either; four, five, six on one. He said he learned pretty quickly he wasn't going to win, and if he tried, he was only going to punch three guys once before getting rolled over. He hit the gym, started wrestling, and one day when five guys cornered him, he slammed one guy on his head and tagged him three times in the mouth before getting rolled over. He still got his ass kicked, but that one kid swallowed a couple teeth, and those guys never touched my dad again. My point is, when you're outnumbered, you need to seize the initiative. If you try to fight them both and find yourself reactive, you're going to lose. Pick one guy, get on him. You need to be hyperaggressive. Think rabid honeybadger on meth. Get them reacting to you. At least take one of them with you. Violence of action wins fights.

These near peer 2v1 fights are tense! Some excellent flying by you and your opponents! The way you read the fights as you're maneuvering always amazes me, you frequently call out where he's going to be and what you'll do about it 2-3 seconds ahead of the actual turns taking place. A comment on one of your other videos gave me an idea for something I'd love to see, similar to this scenario in some ways but a bit more ridiculous 😂 The F-22 in a guns only duel vs. multiple early jet fighters, MiG-15 era type of planes. First match is 1v2, like this video, assuming the F-22 comes out on top, next match is 1v3, then 1v4 etc. continuing to increase the number of opponents until the older jets are finally able to overpower the F-22 just by sheer numbers. Obviously not exactly a scenario inspired by realistic engagements, but I think it could be fun for the F-22 to clown on some early fighters while we figure out how many of them it would take to bring down the mighty Raptor.

Ideally, you do not want to be in a two-on-one dogfight. The Eagle is at its best when it's in its natural element which is slinging AMRAAMs from on high at high speed.

I would think, if you're in the flight of two in a 2v1, the standard move would be to turn opposite directions at the merge...ie one guy go right, the other left...or one guy vertical, the other split-S...that way you have to give your 6 to one of the two
