Lone - Post-Apocalyptic Short Film

Synopsis: The narrative delves into the protagonist's perspective by exploring the absence of humanity, that gradually deteriorates his morality in the post-apocalyptic environment.
This video is intended to be ambiguous, my motive was to craft this non-linear narrative in an artistic film language. Allowing the audience to utilise their imagination, conveying these implications with the subtle symbolism that is displayed in this first short film of mine. Remember, show, don't tell.
The music that was incorporated to my project belongs to the rightful owners, I do not claim their piece. This was just to illustrate my vision.

Brilliant. I really like how the sound has been used to create an apocalyptic atmosphere. I enjoyed the constructive editing and the use of a voice over. The camera movements are very interesting and compelling... Well done 👏

It was meant to be made for open-interpretation (as I've mentioned in the description), try and reflect on the symbolism. You might be able to comprehend it once you've noticed the subtle meaning of the imagery.

I’d give more time on working with scopes and fixing those highlights with the colour my dude. Maybe some extra DOF would help a bit but over all pretty good. Just want to help give feedback for improvement

Liked it...more of a trailer than a short though. And a bit too mysterious. In kindness l would say not to film near mowed verges/healthy or growing crops if you want to convey an apocalyptic message....better off to find overgrown/damaged and derelict areas for background x
