Loneliness and Spiritual Awakening - Wisdom of masters

You know.. When the ultimate knocks on your doors feel REALLY LONELY, lonely in this whole universe. And that is the beginning of meditation. If you feel lonely and if your feeling of loneliness has some intensity in it, then you start meditating. Meditation is a way to come to terms with one’s loneliness, to have an encounter with one’s own loneliness rather than escaping from it, diving deep into it and seeing what exactly it is. And then you are in for a surprise. If you go into your loneliness you will be surprised: at the very center of it it is not lonely at all - there resides aloneness which is a totally different phenomenon. The circumference consists of loneliness and the center consists of aloneness. The circumference consists of solitariness and the center of solitude. And once you have known your beautiful aloneness, you will be a totally different person - you will never feel lonely.

When I feel intense loneliness, like suffocating and losing all motivation, I go out and start walking as much as sun is up and it does feel like meditation and ultimate calmness for some time, but when sun goes down again and im exhausted from walking the feeling of intense loneliness comes back. Sometimes it takes me to total desperation but then I remember that so many people are lonely or alone or have gone through this and it gives me hope that maybe someday I can pull through too, or maybe not.. The video is calming, thanks for it.

Yea.. Loneliness does come in waves.. Also we are diurnal creatures and our life rhythm is pretty much dependant on the ☀️. It is painful, but suffering is a choice. Maybe right now we will reach each other with this words, but after few minutes one still finds himself or herself alone. My first realization of deep loneliness was when I read Luigi Pirandello and the second one when I for a moment glimpsed how there is no separate entities and it is all one “lonely” thing :) to be honest, that was a relief. If there is just one consciousness, it means nobody is having fun while you are sad and alone in next room. So that worked for me kinda, but sometimes it still sucks. Hope you find your own way around it.
