Thank you so much, this is so timely. One of the questions that annoys me most is, "why are you still single" or you're such a cool person, why are you single or don't you have been at your church, why don't you date; when I hear this, it makes me think something is wrong with me. I'm 46 unmarried without children and I also believe God keeps me covered and protected and when the time is right, my person will SEE me. Honestly, it's difficult being single for years and not dating, you start to believe the lies of the enemy, that something is wrong with you. With that said, I'm so grateful I'm following Christ and trust in God's timing. So grateful for Victory.

I think one of the major reason why we are single is that we are too picky! Also, y’all look great and younger than your age! The Lord has kept you all fresh and frozen in time till your spouse locates you

This is so amazing. It speaks so much to us as a generation of living in vulnerability and purity. As a single individual, I am starting to feel more comfortable with it and not feel like in a rush to get married or in a relationship. Spiritual attraction for the W.

Powerfully transparent & vulnerable! So very much appreciated, even for those of us who are PAST the 30’s & 40’s. How bout well into the 60’s & 70’s? We desire the same thing younger Christians do, maybe with a little more seasoning & less drama. Thanks for sharing Love the way Victory meets issues head on! Keep it up!❤️💯

Wow! Sooo good y'all. Thank you for sharing. This was refreshing for me especially after breaking soul ties recently. I'm so happy to hear from you all and your insight, perspective, and encouragement was well received. Loneliness and ageism is real! And really love the insight on surroundings ourselves with community, married and single! I love hearing about identifying what we need when we feel lonely...do we need God's presence or actually desiring a physical person. Understanding the difference helps us to have victory in prayer as we submit how we're feeling to God and this quickly builds a resilience to help us heal as we are growing through the season of singleness. So good!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾

Yes I couldn’t agree with you more! Understanding the difference is huge and also knowing it is completely ok to desire a physical person it’s all the more reason to get connected to the Lord and dive into the intimacy with him! Thank you for sharing!

What frustrates me in this space is that I feel like I hear so many messages about men missing in the church, what they aren’t doing, how they don’t approach or how they are corny, etc I don’t do anything to be seen. But I have been consistent in my presence and serving in the church and even before I moved to atlanta. I have many times put myself out there to approach and have yet to be accepted by the woman who I was interested in. I don’t just talk to everyone but take some time to get to know her and understand about her from others that may know her. Having not been successful at all it makes me wonder what’s the worth for the desire for marriage. Serving in Vickids seeing the families is something I desire. But I stay at a loss. It’s like in whatever frustration of singleness the women have they still are bothered enough to want to choose me. All I can do is laugh at myself and get back to busy because this area of my desires just doesn’t work out. I don’t feel any way in cheering others on for them. I just focus on the things that work out because wading over in relationship stuff is a recipe for my disappointment.

We hear you! Living a life that honors God, ourselves, and others isn’t easy or for the faint hearted. Hey man thank you for being honest, open, and transparent! These are real feelings. I would say get before the Lord on your approach and see what he has to say about it. Don’t just get back to busy but get back to business with the father. He got you and your time will come. Continue to seek wise counsel and yield to what they give you. Even if women are saying those things like where the men at and nobody is approaching them, most times what they are saying is their ideal man is not checking for them (if any ladies want to chime in). It’s okay if your not IT for them but that’s on them of what they are looking for. God got you and you have amazing men in your corner. Your time will come!

Wowww. I just came across this. It was so timely. I’ve been at Victory Norcross for 7 years. I’ve always wondered why there isn’t gatherings for singles to meet. Maybe these gatherings exist but unaware of them.

So just found this today. Cool series. Watched them in reverse order. I have a question for the three that are still single. Youth Ninja Ersk, and the Singin Single Ladies. If you were able to take a stab at why you are single now. What reason would you give? And how well would you want someone to know you, before you would ask them why they thought you were single? I’ve got four main reasons I believe I’m single. Interested to hear thoughts like that from others. As I do feel rather alone in my reasoning. I get that these could be personal, so maybe poll some folks and get random responses. Then read the ones that come in frequently. Not to drop extra work on someone’s plate. But if this could be done, it would be cool.

Hey! Thank you for this! Yeah we can definitely do an episode on this. A couple things I would say is, I am single because I choose to, at times I have a paralyzing fear of choosing wrong, I dont want to lead someone on or hurt their feelings if it doesn’t work, and lowkey…I’m just now starting to enjoy myself in this season lol.

It has to get to a point that you submit you desires to the Lord; however, if he doesn't bless you with a spouse, God is enough.

God does not take the place of a spouse for those who have a sincere desire for marriage and companionship. We have to be careful not to become delusional in our holiness.

I know it was NOTHING but God that brought me here! I am 44 and never been married and I do not have children. I choose to not have children, but I ultimately want to be married. I am passed the point that I think I am not good enough. With my age came wisdom. I haven't met anyone good enough for THIS version of me. The Holy spirit came to me one day and said: " You do not have because you do not believe." I said: " Do you see this down here?' What's left at my age is TRASH. So The Holy spirit was not lying. I have an unbelief problem, paired with hurt, anger, and disappointment.
