thoughts on all of them: English: The OG! I still think Jack Rowan and Edvin Endre's voices work super well together. Not much more that hasn't aleady been said, I like it :) Finnish: I still dig how low and gentle Nuuskamuikkunen's voice is, esp while saying "muumipeikko". It's just. um. The "uh I mean" didn't really sound like he was quickly correcting himself? Idk whether his VA got the memo or not that this was supposed to be Snufkin's gay verbal backspace. Overall still nice to listen to. Gay minus French: My second language, so I might be a little biased but I love this one! There's so much emotion in the voices, especially in the subtle tremors and stutters. Definitely gay/10 Norwegian: Another scene whose dialogue I can (mostly) understand, and it might be my favourite out of the lot. Not as panicked as French, but that doesn't mean you can't hear the adoration, and the *tension*. I rate it a Gay+

his original name did come from a form of tobacco 😭 iirc snus is the non smoking kind?? (his swedish name is snusmumriken) also snuf is another name for snus or a different kind of tobacco??
