I don’t know why single people get downstairs apartments. If you don’t like the noise from others on top of you get an apartment on the upper floors. My sis has had problems with a couple on the bottom floor like there’s a kid in her apartment. Kids run and play. They pay rent so they should be able to run and play when they aren’t sleeping or at daycare. It also reminds me of when we lived on the top floor while we were looking for a new permanent home. It’s 4 kids I don’t know what the neighbors expected to happen when 4 kids (aged 5, 9, 13, 15) were left alone at 5pm til the next morning and then school and repeat until the weekend.
