Lonely Pumpkin (A Halloween Song)

I saw a pumpkin growing at an exit off the 101 in Van Nuys, CA. It looked like a lonely pumpkin. So I wrote a song about it. #pumpkinseason #halloween

I wish I could go there
But nobody invites me inside

Thank you for bringing a smile to my face today. I'd like to share a pumpkin story. My friends had an annual Pumpkin Carving Party and one year, feeling especially mischievous or maybe intoxicated, I stayed out in their back yard after everyone else finished carving their masterpieces and planted pumpkin seeds throughout their meticulously landscaped beds. That next summer he mentioned that he was fighting pumpkin vines that had mysteriously sprouted everywhere. Maybe he knew I was responsible but he didn't get a confession. 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

As a second comment to this video, and as a Halloween enthusiast, I thought the ending was going to be much more gruesome. Like the pumpkin discovers its forever home turns out to be a torture chamber where it's scalped, disemboweled, and various portals gouged out with a butcher's knife.
