My wife hates you :-) I did the muffler delete and Pulsar on my 2019 RST Z71 with the 5.3 and now I can't go under a bridge without letting the bald eagles scream. I have just over 30,000 miles on my truck, so I thought that the DFM didn't hurt my engine yet because I couldn't hear any foul play coming from the engine. After installing the straight pipe, I can clearly hear ticking at idle when she's cold. I couldn't hear it with the muffler. Thank you for showing me the mods you do to your truck because it saved me from finding out my truck has issues after the powertrain warranty expired. Keep up the good work.

after 20 seconds the cold start noise disappears and it gets quiet as regular and after warm up if you do regular driving there is negligible muffler sound…if you romp on it you get that rumble but get off the throttle and back to quiet … it is just enough rumble to satisfy

@@x21blaze21x The only vehicles, imho, that should be noisy are motorcycles. For them it's a safety issue. When they are you might not be able to see the motorcycle, but you can sure as hell hear it. No I don't ride, but I pay attention for motorcyclists and I want to be able to hear them.

My 22 Boss is midnight edition. Not looking to do much to it. I did tint the windows & added a bed cover. Even 100% stock, it’s a beast & I couldn’t be happier with it.

I have a 2015 Silverado and did a 3rd cat, muffler, and resonator delete. Added a Flowmaster super 10 and I have 4”x18” tips. Sounds amazing!

I too bought the hood deflector with the lights and as cool as it was. The hood would vibrate and contort way more then i was confortable with. I ended up ripping it off. That was on my 2019 RST chevy silverado. What a raddle box. I ended up dumping that 2019 for a 2020 and like magic the best truck i very had. No problems other then the large college book mirrors that create huge blind spots. Nice Mods Bro.

Love the truck. Looks super sharp. I have a 14 Silverado 1500 with the z92 off road package. With a couple mods I got done to it. Switched out the original tires for 35x12.5x20 BFG K02s. Custom steel rear bumper. Flomaster exhaust

They’re just different types of mods. I find wheels completely change the look of any vehicle and that’s the first thing I change on any car, truck or motorcycle I’ve ever owned.

I love my 21’ trailboss lt. 5.3 has some weird quirks but overall pretty good truck. Only issue iv had was a lower control arm bolt snapped due to someone not tightening bolt all the way.

I love my 21 trail boss. Opted for no lift and run 34” tires on 18x9.5 -18mm All I had to do was cut the splash guard on the rear of the front wheel well. Minor rub at full lock but it’s very minimal. Definitely glad that I ordered mine with the 6.2l as well. My favourite mod is the auxiliary lighting I added and the front bumper hidden winch by rough country I also got a performance intake and exhaust which was a lot more that a muffler delete but I have zero drone when cruising but a good roar under acceleration

I agree, I just installed my Pulsar LT. I am not ready to go up to a Cold Air Intake yet, but maybe down the road. I have mixed feelings about the Catch Can, the noise issue. Tell me your thoughts on the Catch Can.

They were VERY close. I wanted to have a mix of low cost and big impact modifications. With the cost of the Pulsar, it was tough to include it on the top 5 👍🏽

The noise actually just recently went away on the catch can (I need to include an update). I think once the oil circulated through the system, it lubricated whatever was making noise and it works great 👍🏽

Word to the wise, regarding the LED blinkers…I regret. I got pulled over for speeding in my 2021 Chevy Silverado custom and during the time I was pulled over I had my hazards on. After 10-15 mins of using my passenger side stopped working and I got a error when using my turn signal. Fluke deal or whatever u want to call it, my night time running amber lights and my tail light stopped working because of as they all went out at same time. After taking it in to dealership luckily it was under warranty as something burned up according to tech and had to be replaced. It would have cost me 900$

Wow, I went completely different with my 2022 Trail boss midnight. Everything is blacked out or tinted, with the exception of anything RED. I put a light bar on the rear and blacked out the taillights and it looks super smooth. I have alot more to do but I am off to a good start. Nice video and truck.

Most mods to these new trks have zero to neg outcomes and sum even put them out of emission compliance, not to mention unpleasant drumming exhaust ,possibly voiding parts of warranty.

Have you thought about putting the rear lift blocks in? Looks like the rear sits a hair lower than the front. Bring that rear rake back up maybe?

Rear is at the exact hight as the front so I probably won't be installing the lift blocks. I believe it's intended to keep the factory rake.
