Craft the SS armor at Rusty Pick in Basement, so you can Scrib ones you dont want and get more Modules as Needed, PS you can Only get 10 Modules a Day as well.

It’s hands down the best armor. It’s Jetpack is way better than power armor since it doesn’t drain fusion cores. It doesn’t require ballistic fiber to repair or craft. On top of that, you can keep crafting til you get what you want. So it’s definitely worth the grind.

Actually I'd say you should get the Secret Service helmet. It replaces your green, dim, pip-boy light with a MUCH brighter and wider helmet flashlight that's no longer green, but actually like the Bright Headlamp for Power Armor.

One of the arm modifications you only mentioned in passing was the Stabilised option. I find this one very helpful for scoped aiming. The stabilised option acts like pressing the Hold Breath key (ALT on PC) in that it stops the random movement and you can hold steady on target. However the Hold Breath only works with AP and will stop after a while. The Stabilised option on the Secret Service armor arms allows you to hold steady on target indefinitely. It is a must have in my opinion.

The SS shielded underarmor is basically BOS underarmor mk2. It has + 4 STR +4 END and + 2 PER. It also has + 15 to all resistances.

If you roll 2 pieces with the acrobat's legendary effect (-50% falling damage) you litterally have PA without the fusion core, perk restrictions and being a bigger target than a truck.

I just got the SS jetpack and it's more fun than I hoped. Having said that, to full enjoy it you need to take precautions for fall damage. Max out the Goat Legs perk card. This is Agility card. Then "roll" one of your pieces of armor(whichever type it may be) untill one bonus stat is 50% fall damage protection.

11:47 Getting 200 scrip per day is quite easy, 150 from exchanges then doing your daily quests plus the scrip balance from the day before. So to be more specific for your correction on the bottom of the video from daily quests, Cop a squatter, playtime quest from the nanny bot that doesn't want to nanny, finding inert bombs... those dailies. And to maximize time, do the Mire dailies and work back through the regions based on level from there. If you can do the scorchbeast DNA then do that too... Cop a squatter usually completes without the player doing it. You get more scrip per daily the higher the regions level is. You should get to Toxic Valley and reach 200 scrip for 4 modules easy enough with less than an hour spent on dailies. Pumpkin house... there's 10 pumpkins behind the house... don't bother with following the marker and whole daily done in less than a minute.

There is a modification for the arms to have better stability when aiming scopes. That’s what I use for my recon scope

One thing about the jet pack, while taking it disallows you to add on additional resistances; you can hover above melee enemies and not take any damage. When you take it's massive mobility increase into consideration (along with marsupial and a lot of AP/regen), most of that damage you would soak up with the hardened mod is now negated completely because you'll never touch the ground. I run an aimbot build, and with proper finesse and reflexes I can just hover above the battlefield 1 shotting enemies. Plus it's an absolute blast to use in general.

Bethesda create so many unneeded problems by not giving enough info. Unlike all the other underarmour where you need to learn the linings in order, they sell the SS ones all at once? Silly. I wasted gold assuming it would be like ALL the other underarmour. My issue with SS armor is the random number of stars you can get and how after making over 50 of them I only got 4 effects I wanted with all 4 on different armors. I have a heavy combat armor set that's just missing 2 effects to complete the armor set. Characters a hybrid stealth commando for solo play and stand there and tank it in events. Armor is all heavy combat with BOS and Deep Pockets. Primary effects are 3 vanguards(event tanking), 1 auto-stim(emergencies happen but might swap for another chameleon if I find one that is in the same slot with the right effects since the last time the effect proced was during Meat Week), and 1 chameleon. Second effects is all +1 agility for more sneaky sneak and nothing else for that star is as useful for me. Last effects are 2 -50% fall damage(used all the time) and 1 harder to detect(effect doesn't stack). Missing effects are both weapon weight reductions because modded handmades are heavy and I carry 4 of em. How many rolls of RNG will it take to replace that kit with SS armor? I am over 50 and not one piece had 2 effects much less 3 that I want. I have been trying to get the combat armor kit done for over a year, I have no desire to go backwards for rad resist I probably won't notice and spend the next 5 years trying to replace my nearly completed kit. No desire to craft more SS armor just to scrip it. Ill turn my scrip into 3 star armors, scrip the junk, sell the good ones, hope for ones I want and keep checking player vendors for the last two to complete my kit. Anyone on PC have a right leg or chest in heavy combat with Vanguards, +1 agility, and weapon weight reduction? Ill pay 20k caps for one or 20k caps and 20K 5.56 for both.

You can also get treasure notes from the daily missions that factions give you to level up there reputation with them. But events pay out a lot more then the daily mission. Also getting close to the armor. good vid :)

3:48 TBH regarding the question if you wanny share the gold or keep it: ALWAYS KEEP IT There won't be any rep punishment, you just gain a little less than by sharing it. You can find almost every reward for high reputation by Minerva from time to time for much cheaper than from the factions and there are other so many other ways to earn rep (daily quests, events)

Great guide as always, especially for new players. Just a heads up as you mention it repeatedly in your guides. Endurance stat on armor pieces is broken and doesn’t add health. You mention that the under armor adds health because it adds endurance, this is simply not true as it’s broken. Not knocking on you in particular, great job!

Its easier to find your new crafts by just switching to modify while in your craft station interface. They're much easier to scroll and inspect then going through pip inventory. Buttress is (butt triss)

Only a few events give Treasury Notes, and Tea time is not one of them, All low level events like Tea time do not give notes. Lowest level event that i have found that gives notes is the Campfire Tales. That gives 2 notes. Heart of the swamp gives 3 notes and Fighting the Queen gives 4 notes. Free Range gives 2 or 3 notes if you can keep the brahmin alive. Each of the faction dailys give 3 notes and the Overseers robot gives 3 notes for doing his daily photo challenge.

If your goal is bloodied stealth commamdo don't waste your time and resources on a full set SS armor just get the torso with the jetpack and wear Covert Scout Armor on your limbs. Mobs won't know your there and will just fire on everyone else.

I rock the buttressed mods on my set to get extra resistance and mass rad protection to help me not get too many rads as I have a low health high rad build but if I was not using that I would definitely get the ultra light for the extra breathing room in weight and especially those juicy AP bonuses as they buff vats beautifully but also gives the jet pack that bit more oomph

There’s so much more to this game that I didn’t even know, I’ve only put in maybe 50+ hours of game time into Fallout 76 and I’m about lvl 56, haven’t started wastelanders, am doing the BoS quests and I think I’m close to finishing, barely have any legendary pieces of gear and I’m always sub 7k caps, I had the game for about a year now but I barely played it before and I’m getting back into it and I’m having fun with it, still finding new enemies and gear that I didn’t know existed in Fallout, I’d played F4, FNV and F3 all before getting F76 so I was familiar with the game but got bored at about lvl 35 because I would always burn through ammo and junk trying to fight enemies that always seemed overpowered back then, now I can craft so much ammo and my stash is constantly needing management because I’m capped out, I know at least twice as much about the game but only know maybe 70% of what the game has to offer, will be working on it even more
